FAR-OUT 2026 Competition Results

FAR-OUT 2026 has now come to a close, and it turned out to be a really big year for us! We had well over 200 students and 30 volunteers in attendance, more than 30 spectators over the launch days, 12 teams show up, and 10 rockets launched. We would like to thank all of our teams, including the 18 teams who could not make it out to the competition this year, for all of your hard work and dedication to your projects. We would also like to thank our sponsors and partners: FAR for all of the launch site and administrative support, Mojave Air & Space Port for the Event Center and professional connections, WM for waste management at the site, Impulse, Vast, Muon Space, SpaceX, and Contrail Rockets. We would especially like to thank Vast, Impulse, and Scaled Composites for hosting site tours for our participating students and volunteers.

All of the results of our competition can be found at the link here, but are also shown below. Photos for teams have been posted to a shared Google Drive that can be accessed by all of the teams. Thank you again for your support in the third year of this competition!
